Britain's Got Talent Auditions 2012 Insider's Gossip

This weekend marked the beginning of the Manchester auditions for 2012’s Britain’s GotTalent series.

Hundreds of people queued up outside The Lowry Theatre to get a chance to see the hopefuls perform, but unfortunately ApplauseStore, in charge of the audience, gave out way more tickets than there was seats, so many people with tickets didn't even get into the venue even after waiting for hours.
Contestants have to step up this year after Simon Cowell has entered into talks with Richard Branson about the winner possibly performing in space.

This year’s judges arrived at The Lowry Theatre in Salford to miserable rainy weather, but still found time for a pose in front of the cameras and queuing audiences.

Alesha Dixon looked glamourous as ever in an eye-catching yellow gown that was slit up one leg. She was seen later on that day walking with Amanda, describing a certain contestant as "cute".

David Walliams arrives- this was his first ever time appearing as a judge on BGT.

Amanda Holden, six months pregnant, looked stunning in a black dress and heels that showed off her baby bump. She was drinking hot chocolate throughout the auditions in her BGT mug.

Simon Cowell arrived over an hour late, wearing sunglasses despite the glum weather and with a bright smile on his face...

Britain's Got More Talent presenter Steven Mulhern was seen outside the theatre chatting to one of the contestants- a motorbike stunt rider.
Steven then paused to sign some autographs before being hurried back inside The Lowry.

As for the contestants, it looks like this year is going to be an interesting one! Insider's tip: look out for a young girl playing the harp, a father-son duo and especially a group of glittery gold sailors!

Other acts to look out for include a lady in a long purple coat with a dalmation, and a young group of cheerleaders/dancers in Union Jack jackets.
It seems Britain’s Got Talent 2012 will be the most explosive year yet!
